D(damon) construction management

looks like that task master damon is making sure that things are going to plan. if you ask me or any other one of the eight he should head on over to heathfield lane and start putting some butts in gear to get some projects done. here he is taking after old man dyer and collecting every little scrap of wood to make sure that it will be put to some use, whether as a door stop or as a contribution to keep the family warm during the winter months. each time that i have conversed with deadline deamon he has talked about the "job site." now i know where he spends most of his time.

mollys photo captions:
Some of you may have already heard from Damon, but this is the cherished Boom Lift that he got to go "Higher and Higher" on.
let the building begin.
Adrian is thinking, "Yes young Damon, collect all the scrap wood and one day you too will have enough to build a home. Yes... excellent!

not a tract home

Yeah, it’s true. The Hunsakers are finally building a home of their own. Adrian, Jean, Jon, and Cheryl will be happy to have the room over their garages back. We are almost done. Here are some pictures.
We will be Turner-Tuffies as Luke once called the Turner residents. Brittani has named our home "The Turner Turd." Smell was not the reason, but her name was created from the various shades of brown we picked for the interior and exterior colors.
Here is a link to see our floor plan. We made some changes, so it isn't exact, but you'll get the idea.

No, these are not from Dad's personal residential photo collection.

matchbox cars and more

here are some sweet picts from Claire about life back in turner during her summer break away from the ID.
looks like damon has that mischievous look on his eye. gearing up for a get together with the cousins. personally it is kinda weird to see him with hair, but you have to remember that makenzie had her first haircut after the age of two. looks like molly has her hands full with the two little men.
ode to the old matchbox cars there with the old plastic city streets that we would race around on and screech the tires going sideways down the city streets. the little things that you see in the background of these pictures is a little snapshot from our days of growing up. there are those double decker buses that our English mother would have us play with. i am sure somewhere along there dad would say we need to get these because these Yankees don't know what public transportation is. all of those classic cars.
as we can see Claire has to sell her self out to the slums of turner for some extra cash. we all had told dad that Claire was an addict, and we thought that it was just the internet, my space, instant messenger, paint fumes, and grunge clothing. we never knew that it was heroin. i am sure that is a viable income there in rexburg too.
