Ruby and Sandy

Since Kenzie was about two she fell in love with horses. She rode on a pony at the fair called Ruby and ever since she has wanted Papa to buy her a Ruby horsey. Then she watched a movie where there was a girl horse that was white and her name was sandy...so all white horses are sandy horses. She begs Austin weekly to take her horse back riding. So finally dad came through and took her up to the bishops ranch to go see the horses. Her and Ethan were also lucky enough to get to ride on two different horses!! Ethan did not want to share with the other kids...and had a hard time sharing; but was happy again when he got to ride the other horse again. Thanks to the Hardmans for letting the kids come see and ride the horses!

it was funny to see the kids run in and see the horses and how quickly their attention turned from the object of their trip to the play set that they had back near the corrals. they were content to swing and slide. as i was leaving earlier that morning for a ward basketball game makenzie got up and was very upset that we could not go and see the horses right then. i told her that once i got back we could go and see the horses as i had not arranged for any riding. i knew that was the next step but figured we would start with the carrots and petting. the hardmans were so accommodating and helpful.
