a few shots

here are a few shots of a few things, our trip to the beach and then some of the sun with all of the smoke that was down here. the smoke did not get that bad until after the winds started blowing back to the east. i think that these were shots from Thursday or Friday. it sprinkled a little on Saturday and that seemed to knock down a bunch of the smoke and ash. there were places that smelled worse than others and we were very lucky that not only were the fires not close but the smoke and ash were minimal in comparison to some places. i liked these pictures of the sunset and makenzie and ethan. here is makenzie, what she calls it, noodle hair. ethan was just looking to keep up with the bigger kids, and then he found this little mound to jump off of. he would go down and come back up and jump. then he would come over to me and pull my finger until i got on top and jumped off with him. the sunset just kept going and going. it seemed to last for a good hour.
