ping pong / pool

it is finally up and located in the front room. at the work christmas party we received a pool/ping-pong table. after it sat down at the main office until the middle of January it was brought up to rest on the floor of our garage for another month to season. it was incredibly heavy and finally last weekend we were able to with the help of some lifting put it together. we started out by breaking it in with a few rounds of pool. after working out the kinks on the pool table, there was a 6 inch area near one of the pockets that if you even got it close it would go into the pocket. we finally adjusted that and placed the full size ping-pong table on and played a round with the kids.
cherisse was at one end, with the couch pushed up so that ethan and makenzie could "play." their version of playing was to see who could collect the most of the 3 orange balls. they both could care less about the white balls that we were trying to play with. makenzie, with paddle in hand managed to hit a few balls that came her way, too bad they were not back across the net but we will work on that.
so on the one side i am hitting balls back and forth with cherisse who is forced to play from behind the couch, on the couch is ethan, diaper on no shirt, and next to him is makenzie who wants to smash a ball at dad.
i tried to serve the ball to cherisse and it went into the net, the next one followed. cherisse said, "you suck and need to practice." the next serve went into the net and makenzie said, "Ha, you suck again!" looks like this play table will bring lots of good times.
