Sad Day...Sad Year

I feel like my heart was ripped out a year ago and I never got it back. This by far has been the hardest year of my life. I wish you were still here. All I have now are memories...memories that I will forever cherish.

1. Padres and Chargers games and knowing I would get whatever I wanted!
2. Our many car rides we would go when I was mad or sad about something and you would just listen to me...and then fix it like only you knew how.
3. Christmas tree shopping forever to make sure we found the biggest one.
4. Christmas Vacation....thanks Dad...aka Clark for all the laughs.
5. Spoiling and teasing my kids.
6. Your bear hugs on a bad day.
7. Working at your office...or should I say teasing you all day at the office....I wish I was the boss and all I had to do was fix the air-conditioner.

9. Of course our San Diego pride! The finest city in the world!!
10. Never letting me go on a date...ever!
11. For being the best papa in the world.
12.For coming in every morning and ripping the blankets off every morning so I would get up for seminary and then chasing me out of bed.
13. Making me a strong person and independent.
14. Our trips to Hawaii.
15. Our road trips where you would stop at every fruit stand and buy everything.
16. For making me love fruit.
17. If it doesn't work...get a bigger hammer.
18. Bigger is better.
19. Learning you can never have too much food at a party.
20. Sea Port Village.
21. Watching the planes land.
22. The money game...if you guessed the year on the bill you got it. My favorites were $100.00 bills!!
23. The fact that every guy in town was scared of you...thanks for that!
24. For always spoiling me and giving me whatever I wanted!!!
25. For making me go to home depot with you and teaching me all about whatever project you were doing at the time.
26. Grocery shopping at Costco...and people would say are all these carts yours? Yep that was super fun trying to push 20 carts at a time.
27. For always finding the silver lining in things even when I didn't want to hear it.
28. For all the times we would sit in the corvette and blare a good song and we would sing together, and you never get out of the car if there is a good song on...until it was over.
29. For always saying..."now cherisse be nice"...when I would be mad at austin of course.
30. For teaching me to love fast cars.
31. How you always spoke Italian to me like I had any idea what you were saying.
32. For always talking to your self and then I would laugh and say, "dad you talking to yourself again" and you would say, "yep well I am the only one who agrees with me!"

I could go on for days...thanks for all the memories.
