Zeke's Baby blessing

Wow where to start with the story of Zeke's blessing day. It all started during the night before when Zeke started having a hard time breathing. I woke up to him struggling for air; I then realized that he had a cold but lucky for me my kids seem to get the yummy croup/stider with it. Which bascially starts to constrict your airways. As Austin and I were trying to figure out what we were going to do...there was a brief moment where he could not get air...in true Cherisse fashion I freaked out and started yelling at Austin to do something. Austin grabbed him from me and started hitting his back, and shortly after he was able to get some restricted oxygen. Austin had gone in and gotten Luke out of bed at about 3:00am and they gave him a blessing. We then hurried out the door and rushed to the emergency room. Luckily its only 5 minutes away, they heard how bad his breathing was when we ran in, and immediately took him in, got an IV (which for poor Zeke it took 7 times and two nurses), and tubes down his nose to try and clear him out, a breathing treatment and steroids. After many long hours in the ER...needless to say by the time he was well enough to come home, sacrament had come and gone. So with many family members here for the event...we decided to have his baby blessing at home a few hours after we got home from the ER. After a night of no sleep and stressed out thinking Zeke was not going to be okay...Austin and I are looking super hot for pictures!! It did however, turn out nice with tons of yummy food and lots of friends and family.

Thanks for the invite jerks... actually seriously, that is scary. I always worry about things like that, and would have been freaking out too. Although, honestly I can't imagine you freaking out, you are always like unnaturally calm.
