Zeke is home from the NICU!

After 10 long days Zeke was discharged from the NICU. Its nice to be home and not feel like I live at the hospital. The last thing to come off was the feeding tube. He was finally able to take all his feedings. The kids were so excited to finally get to bring their brother home and get to hold him for the first time. Tessa however was not too happy when she had to share Zeke with Kenzie and Ethan. Anytime we would try and take Zeke from her to let the other kids hold him, it would be followed by crying, instant bucket tears and "my baby brother." I will post more pictures later. Here are just a few of his discharge, coming home and meeting his sisters and brother.

During this whole time the kids were great. They got to go over to friends houses and do a lot of things that on a normal week they probably would not have been able to do. Cherisse spend most of the time up at the hospital and I would bounce back and forth trying to get back to the kids before bedtime.

Thanks to all of you who helped and those of you who were thinking of us during this juncture in our lives. It was a great blessing to our family and we could not have done it without you.
