Mormon Battalion--Old Town San Diego

We go to the Mormon Batalion party that they have in Old Town every year with my parents. The kids have a blast getting to pan for gold, washing laundry (yea), roast a biscuit, make bricks, rope, dolls, learn games, and hold a kiddy gun and go for a march. The Petersons and Thunstroms joined in on the fun as well. Ethans favorites were the rope making (he wouldn't put his rope down and kept hitting everyone with it), and roasting biscuits. Kenzies favorites were panning for gold and making biscuits. If course lunch at El Indios afterwards.

That's so fun. I've been to the Mormon Battalion place in Old Town before, but I didn't know that they had that big party. we'll have to go some time.
