We made the 20 hour trip to Oregon this year for Christmas. It was a super fun drive with three kids but we made it. It was snowing through the pass at Mt. Shasta and then a few passes in southern Oregon but with 4 wheel drive we made it just fine. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and staying at the Hunsakers house. A special thanks to the Husakers for letting us stay. The kids got Razors for Christmas and they loved them. It snowed on Christmas day so the kids got to enjoy their first White Christmas!! Kenzie kept saying that she didn't like the cold and wanted to go home...what do you expect from kids who are used to 100 degree weather. My kids did however love the dog...Tank. Santa also came early on Christmas Eve to make sure the kids were being good and gave each of them an early Christmas present. The kids were super excited. We got to hang out with the Nelsons over the weekend and show them some cool sights in Turner! Austin and Joe had a race around Austins old High school track. We played a cloverdale elementary, saw sweet turner market, and tons of Christmas tree farms, and a trip to the kids museum in Salem.
Wow! I haven't been bloggin' much lately and boy have I missed out on yours! From your Christmas events to Kenzie dancin' with Troy to your rockin' 80's birthday - you guys look like life is wonderful! Happy belated by the way. I am glad you made it safely through the snow to Oregon!
I'm jealous that you got to have a White Christmas. We just had pouring down rain. Looks like you guys had a great time! I'll definitely let you know when baby Matthew arrives. That'd be so fun if you guys all came over like when we all went to Carrie's house. I'm going for what's will hopefully be my last check-up this afternoon. I'll post my update when I get home.
Looks like you had a fun Christmas. We just got back from Utah tonight we were there for eleven days Whoo! We can get the kids together on Friday maybe if that works for you. Colleen had her baby today. all is well he weighed 7 lb 5 oz 20 inches long. Call me
