Little Roxie Dog
A sad day...
Yesterday while at kenzie's dance recital my mom got a phone call that the Nelsons little toy poodle Roxie had been run over by a car and passed away. I was so sick to my stomach and so sad for them. Roxie has been around longer than any of my kids. My kids love Roxie and love to play with her and fights over who gets to hold the leach and walk her. Kenzie always asks when she can have a Roxie dog and I say that's why the Nelsons have Roxie dog! I am not a huge fan of animals...who knew I loved that little dog so much. I told Kenzie on the way home what had happened and she started to cry and said..."Mom but I will never be able to play with Roxie dog ever again, and I will never get to see Roxie dog ever again." So I then tried to explain that Roxie was in heaven with Heavenly Father and that we will see her again someday. Then sweet little kenzie said..."Well then when is Heavenly Father going to die Roxie back to us?" I said, "do you mean when is He going to bring her back to us," and she said, "yes mom when do we get Roxie back?" So I then had to try and explain to a 4 year old that Roxie is in heaven and not coming back. It was so hard, but she said, "okay mommy I understand."We love you Clarissa, Carrin, and Chase and Roxie dog loves you guys too!!!!

Sorry to hear about that, kids always seem to understand so well it is amazing. YOu should get the poor girl a Roxie dog! Ha! HA! Love YA
Cherisse..I'm not even a dog lover and Im totally crying! That makes me sad, growing up we had TONS of pets and being in rural Idaho many of our dogs got run over it's so sad! Sad for Shalyn too! So sorry!
Thanks Cherisse.....who knew you loved that dog so much :) I know your favorite thing about Roxie was when her wet nose touched your leg !!!!
