where do we live? KS, MT, IA, ...
today there was a tornado that touched down 5 miles from our house. this is not the normal thing that happens around here. oddly enough i was talking to my friend who lives in CO and he had one that was close to his house today. may 22 day of the tornado. it was blazing hot earlier in the week and now tornado watch. tons of rain, hail, even snow in some areas around us.on our drive home back towards the bad weather area, we saw a small area as we got off the freeway that was covered in hail. so much that it looked like it had snowed there. bizarre weather. this last picture was taken by someone else. some pictures and stories from our friends the alemans and chalfants.

Wow! That is an amazing picture of the tornado. It is always fun to get crazy weather in CA, since it is usually so mild- but I am sure glad that tornado didn't get any closer!!

Holy crap!! Josh told me about the tornado and I couldn't believe it!! Idaho has been freaking rainy the whole time Ive been here!! Woohoo! Can't wait to come home!
I was wondering how close you were to it when I heard it was in Moreno Valley!
