FHE w/mitt and super tuesday

last night we went down to long beach to see mitt romney. this started out reading over the email in the morning and then getting a call from charlie (thanks for the pictures) a little later. last Thursday we were going to go down and see him in san diego but that had to be postponed due to the fact that the kids made it difficult to get out the door. granted the trip out to long beach and back was not easy peasy but it was worth it. all of his fans crowded in to an airport hanger to get pumped up for Tuesday. being there with 3 kids was not conducive to getting that picture opportunity, or getting right up to him. after he was done talking and on his way to the press conference. i took makenzie and ethan up to try and get a handshake but was rushed by a bunch of teenage girls trying to get a closer look at mitt. makenzie was game with the wait and see mitt, aloft on my shoulders, but ethan was not a happy camper in my free arm, he was done with all of this half way through. it did not help that he went to sleep right before we got there.
cherisse and i missed the deadline for absentee ballots and so we jumped out of bed early this morning. our voting location is across the street from our house. i was the first one there at 6:45 and cherisse then went over after i got back. last time we were there until about 10:30 at night locked in the cramped elementary library waiting to cast our ballot.
