promoter

we have been trying to get ethan to use the bathroom on his own. i guess that is a long way of saying potty training. tonight he went in 3 different times and used the bathroom. each time we have made a big deal about it, some positive reinforcement or we are going to scare the pee out of him by invading his private time in the bathroom. the last time we were in the kitchen and makenzie went in and went to the bathroom.

makenzie - "hey i went potty, do i get a treat"
austin - "no, you only get a treat for sleeping in your own bed"
makenzie - "i want a treat"
austin - "how about this i will give you a treat makenzie"
makenzie - "what do i get"
austin - "i will give you a hi-five"

next she comes running out of the bathroom to tell us that ethan went potty again. so we do our thing of convincing ethan that we are crazy for stuff in the toilet. as we walk to the bathroom makenzie positions herself in the door jam to barter a deal for ethan from the treat basket.

makenzie - "so ethan went potty again what does he get"
austin - "there is a 2 prize limit per hour, since he has gone 3 times in the last 30 minutes he doesn't get a prize this time"
makenzie - "how bout i get his prize because i only went once"

Thats funny. How smart she is!

I have a friend here potty training her little boy and he opened up the dishwasher, stood on the door and pee'd all over her clean dishes!!

That is great Kinsie and Bailee I swear are sisters always trying to barter for a treat. That is great that Ethan seems to be doing well
