just hold it
makenzie has a habit of waiting until the very last possible moment before going towards the bathroom or letting anyone know that she needs to relieve herself. she is in the habit of using one hand to "hold" it in, which i think in her head will buy her a couple of minutes. the other day cherisse took her into the bathroom as makenzie needed to go. after makenzie got on the seat the conversation went like this.cherisse - "makenzie are you done."
makenzie - "almost."
cherisse - "can you hurry up because i need to go to the bathroom."
makenzie - (while grabbing cherisse's hand and moving it to her zipper) "if you just put your hand here you won't have to go potty right now mommy."

okay, I am laughing out loud, AGAIN. I am really dad that we don't live near each other because I am convinced that Makenzie and Cambria would be the best of friends!
Don't you just love how our kids love to tell their parents just what to do and how to do it?!? Priceless!
