ethan has a huge fascination for the movie cars. his main focus is on lightning mcqueen. this movie is his movie of choice. we have managed to amass quite the collection of the
die cast characters. there are a few different versions of mcqueen: bling, blu-ray, bug mouth, cactus, crusing, dinoco, dirt track, radiator springs, tongue and original. you would think that this would throw two year old ethan for a challenging loop trying to figure out which one is which. well take out the blue ones, a couple with metallic paint, you are left with a handful of red mcqueens. the only mcqueen that ethan wants almost all of the time and on any road trip is the original mcqueen with no extras. he goes through the drawer of cars and will quickly discard any posers. sunday i brought him in from the car after church and he asked me for mcqueen and then pulled my finger to the front door and after opening the door he pointed to the car for me to recover the "original" from his car seat.

Little boys are the best. Chase is a Car's fan as well. We watch it everytime the girls have swim practice. So as soon as we walk in he starts asking for "cars"... gotta love that show :)
Little Lexy is a cars fan. We have PJs and a pillow case,but we have at least talked her into princess sheets.
I had a feeling he like cars, when he opened that drawer Sunday. By the way, we are going to take you all up on that Sunday lunch offer. My phone is missing :( or else I would have just stayed and had Wes meet me there. Next time Gadget, next time!
