dodge ball
this Friday night we gave up on the diaper toss and ended up playing dodge ball with some soft blocks. thanks again to tessa for letting us use something of hers for our entertainment. it was cherisse and tessa on one team and then me. makenzie and ethan were mostly on the girl team but if the the majority of the 4 colored blocks were over near me then they were tossing them at the girls. makenzie and ethan had a blast thrown the blocks back and forth. no one was injured and nothing was broken or damaged.last night makenzie asked if we could play dodge ball and we did for a while but she got her feelings hurt when it was time to go to bed. i did tell her on the drive to school that we could when i got home from work.

This reminded me of our family pillow fights. we have pretty big throw pillows on our couch. dwight throws the pillows so hard at the kids (especially Bear) that it hits them and they fall straight on their butt. They jump up and want some more though.
