lot of ornaments

one of the tallest lighted christmas trees is located in Newport beach, California. it is funny to me that the 4 of the 5 largest christmas trees in the nation are in California. why not the NW, not like it would cost a ton to move it. Saturday night after a christmas party at the woods, we stopped by to see this spectacle. the kids were not as impressed as cherisse and i, well cherisse was not even that impressed until i showed her how that tree in Newport beach stacked up to the main street tree and George W.'s. makenzie spent some time looking at the ornaments and the fake presents that surrounded the bottom of the tree. ethan took the opportunity to run around and check on all of the store fronts to see if they had really locked their doors. he stopped for a second only to climb up on the fountain and dip his hands in. typical.
i guess that there is a difference between these tress that have been transplanted, and living trees that get lights and ornaments each year.
