short summary

so in the last little while what have we been up to. we went down to la jolla a couple of weeks ago with luke and greta and some friends from the ward and went swimming with sharks. i am not talking about the tiny ones from walmart but leopard sharks. you could walk out and get a little more than chest deep and you could see them. our friends brought some snorkeling gear and so you could see them clearly. i took makenzie out there and after she discovered that sharks are not all like jaws and bruce (finding nemo) then she was stoked. she started spotting them as they would swim by us.

our friends the kearns came down from utah. we have not seen them since we left hawaii and it was good to see them and their 3 daughters. it is always nice to hang out with friends from hawaii.

ethan has 4 stitches just below his lower lip. he busted it open while jumping in the jacuzzi at cherisse's parents house. he is doing good. he gets the stitches out on friday. he stopped crying before we made it out of the house and took a nap on the way to the emergency room. one tough kid. it was tough to watch him be restrained and upset as they stitched up his lip, but he will be ok.

norven and holly came down we all got together on sunday afternoon at cherisse's parents house with all of the california family. one last hurrah for shalyn and joe before they head off to king county, WA.
