hike your pants in NYC
This
rebuilding now but the Hilton across the street was nice enough to lend us their bathrooms so we could freshen up for the day. Then off to Wall street. It was just the businessmen and women out, We were the only tourists until we hit the Statue of Liberty. The statue we saw on the way to the water was pretty cool. It used to stand in between the twin towers and got blais what we call a day trip. We got on the shut-eye flight to JFK leaving at 11:45 on Monday night arriving in NY at 5:30am. We made it into the city. First stop: ground zero. The memorial is gone because they’rested by the explosions. That’s a lot of metal.
We said hello to miss majesty herself. Then off to Times square, the Carnegie Deli (P.S. they don’t’ take debit cards or credit of any kind. They roll with cash…Mom), 5th ave, 42nd street, etc. We even took a nap in Central Park and managed not to get anything stolen the entire day.
