fourth of July had me floating on my four dollar inflatable loungy bed. I got too much sun on Jefferson Lake and I've been lathering the aloe ever since. After contracting skin cancer as I napped on the lake, it was off to the bbq. The bbq in IF almost burned off my hand. nobody brought a spatula and I dove into the flames with my fork. the fork did well, but my right hand will probably never have hair on my knuckles. We sat on the shore of the river and waited for the sun to set (see pic) and the fireworks to start (and pics). Boasting to be the largest firework display west of the Mississippi, the fireworks were spectaculastic. We watched for 31 minutes as 13,000 shells went bing bang pop kaplooie in the air. I thought it was the best.
