thanksgiving, breaking bread with the natives
this is coming soon and needs to be filled with all of your stories about the actual event, the prep, cleaning, unique food items that have inhabited our third Thursday dinner table, napping, and so on. so email me your ideas and thoughts. drumming up the memories is fun, i think.
Austin
the infamous uncorking of the sparkling cider on the ceiling. i rember playing football down at cloverdale but i think that was when i was at ricks in 95. but it could have been in 98 because luke and the guys from the church were there and they were pretty big. it was probably after luke started on roids so 98. it was muddy but fun. another memory is cleaning that antique stuff that we drag out of the cabnit to use once, well twice (christmas) and then we have to hand wash it. if it were dishwasher safe it would not be done for at least 3 days as the person whose job it was turkey week would try and pawn them off to the next person on sunday. stuffing balls. enough pumpkin pie to give you a coppertone tan.
i remember the thanksgiving down here last year and going to the pool. it was hot, i wanna say in the 80's. luke, josh and i went and played some flag american football. the made up table in the front room.
