madrid

O, to live in Spain…or maybe just visit. I think Barcelona could quite possibly be better than Madrid, of course, visiting as a tourist is a bit different than living there. a year ago. The metro hasn’t changed and the capilla in my 3rd area that we Barcelona is gorgeous and the Mediterranean was just cool enough for the hot weather.

Madrid was just as I remember, old worldy, full of people smoking and the Spaniards are just as wierd as they were 3 years visited on Sunday had four wards meeting in it instead of just two.

Back to Barcelona and Mom and I hit all the Accessorize stores Barcelona had to offer. We found Zara and a couple of other stores worthy of a yearly shopping trip to Spain (Mom will be funding that trip for anyone who wants to go…).

And the beach…I could have stayed there the entire time and been quite content. The train ride along the coast made you feel as if you could just open the window and stick your hand in the sea. At every train stop one only needed to take about 10 steps to reach the beach.

The Sagrada Familia was the highlight of the trip (I’ll bring pics to Thanksgiving) with it’s fruit topped spires poking the skyline of the city. Certainly a fun trip! Tiring but fun.

Austin,
As an English major I would love to proofread your entries before you post them, but this is a family site and I'm sure everyone would agree that it doesn't matter.

And another thing...in the lovely blue VW bus picture, you neglected to note that I am not in the picture. Also, you are holding Emily! I think mom was pregnant with Rachel. Also, the beautiful sweatshirt that Lauren is wearing was actually made for me...which I then, gracefully, handed down to the girl with the gorgeous smile.
