Ethan Kimball Dyer

Ethan arrived on the 23rd of October 2005 @ 1:08 am. Both baby and mom are doing fine. Ethan weighed 7 pounds 8 and one half ounces, was 19 inches long, and a boy. Cherisse was admitted to the hospital at 1:03 am and the rest of the story will be told later.
Saturday started out like any other saturday but ended like no other. we went about our day shopping and here and there. cherisse said that she was having some pains but nothing major until later. we even went to the ward halloween party. she thought that she was having the braxton/hicks (?) but turns out they were not. got home from that around 9:30-ish. that is when the pain started in.
cherisse called kaiser and asked them what to do, they said wait. she called a few more times and they said the same thing, wait. makenzie was a trooper through the whole thing. getting her mom something to wipe the tears and telling her that she was going to be alright. she did not even really get scared with all of the screaming and yelling, from the pain. she was a trooper.
at about 12:30-ish loaded up the car and headed out, rather quickly. got a hold of the 911 operator and they got us to the hospital just in the nick of time. pulled up and then the hospital entorage came out to greet cherisse. i had to repark the car, went in with makenzie to only be told that she could not wait in the hall with out me. i went out to wait for brent and just as i was about ready to head back in a nurse came out and told me the news. it went quick and i was not even in there for the delivery. no epidural, not really any drugs. all natural. wow. i am super proud of cherisse for pulling it off. not too many can stand in that circle, nor many who would want to.

Hey just thought that I would let you know that I had the baby! On Oct. 23rd. I am not sure who austin already emailed but his name is Ethan Kimball Dyer he weighed 7pds 9oz and 19inches long. He is a really good baby thank goodness!! Long story but a pretty exciting one you could say. Almost had him in the car on the way to the hospital. Got to a random hospital on the way to where I was supposed to deliver. My water broke in the car and then got to the hospital at 1:00am and they cut my clothes off and got me in the delievery room at 1:03 and I had him at 1:08am. So yea just made it in time!! Hope everyone is doing well and there are some pictures attached.
