urban farm
she really enjoyed being in the little petting area with these animals but this was the second go round. the first time, earlier that morning she was not too keen on the idea of walking around with some hairy animals on four legs manuvering around all of the little kids that had made it through the gate. there were some sheep, some chickens, pigs, a cow and a few other animals. everyone else was off doing something that day, 4th of July, and so i took her over to do something that i knew that she would enjoy much more. i know that eating fries, funnel cakes, and orange julius is fun but hanging out with animals that you dont see in the urban backyard is even better. before we made it through the double gates to then sanitize our digits she would sit down next to the goats and sheep and just them be. it was like she wanted to be one of them and get on their level. if they were sitting down in the wood shavings then so am i.
